It all began in 1641, with two small sawmills at the BOEN waterfall in the unspoiled south of Norway.

What began by a waterfall in Southern Norway has grown into a global presence. Over the centuries, we have continued to evolve, always guided by the same principle: to treat nature with respect and use its resources with care. Then as now, wood remains at the heart of our identity.
